Quick Answer
One of the biggest misconceptions in vaping is that the puff count printed on the box tells you exactly how long a disposable vape will last.
It doesn’t.
Puff counts are manufacturer estimates based on specific testing conditions. In real-world use, your vaping style, puff length, and how often you vape will have a much bigger impact on how long a device lasts.
At TV Vapor, we’ve found that the amount of e-liquid inside the device (measured in mL) is usually a much better way to estimate how long a disposable vape will last.

Puff Count Is One of the
Biggest Myths in Vaping
Walk into almost any vape shop and you’ll see disposable
vapes advertised with numbers like:
It sounds simple.
Bigger number = longer lasting vape.
Unfortunately, that’s not always how it works.
Those puff counts are manufacturer estimates and may not match how people actually vape.
Someone taking long three- or four-second draws will use much more e-liquid than someone taking
short one-second puffs.
That’s why two people can buy the exact same vape and have completely different experiences.
